Here at CCC, we recycle (thanks, Heather), which we feel pretty good about. Especially today. Of course, we all know that’s not enough. Why? Well, take a look:
- To produce each week's Sunday newspapers, 500,000 trees must be cut down.
- Americans use 2,500,000 plastic bottles every hour. Most of them are thrown away.
- A modern glass bottle will take 4000 years to decompose — even longer if it's in a landfill.
Yikes.
